Lori Stevens (our English Bulldog Abigail's 'grandma') is a dog trainer out of Rockwall. She offers classes and private lessons through 'Country K-9 Academy' in order to fund her non-profit organization 'Patriot Paws.' Lori trains and donates 'service dogs' to individuals (mostly veterans) in need of help. These people could not live a normal life without the dogs' help. Just caring for one of these dogs throughout the training process costs upward of $8,500. In most cases, the dogs are offered to individuals at little or no cost. You can help with a tax deductible donation or by just enrolling in a training course for you and your dog.
